Gekko produced images for a number of English language books. The most delightful is probably Josiah Conder's "Floral Art of Japan", there is a translation by Frederick Dickens of the Chushingura tale subtitled "The Loyal League, A Japanese Romance", Gekko illustrated the 3rd Edition of this one. Finally there is a slim volume titled "The Japanese Months, with Illustrations.
